With a cool interior made up on blue, red and purple details in velvet, leather and neon in a dark and moody atmosphere with tons of natural light during the days, it feels both welcoming as it feels energetic when you step into the red door of Super Lyan set in a history 17-century building in central Amsterdam.
Mr Lyan (Ryan Chetiyawardana) is well known for his award-winning cocktail bars in London, so let it be no surprise that his first establishment outside United Kingdom lives up to the reputation when it comes to the atmosphere, vibe and a polished cocktail menu that offers both classic cocktails with a dash of creativity next to more experimental ones.
The staff is friendly and welcoming and happy to find the right cocktail for you, alternatively beer or wine if you prefer that. They also offer small bites from the kitchen if you are feeling the nibble for something to go with your drink.
Super Lyan is open on Wednesdays through Sundays between 17-01.
