Be seated and enjoy the show at Sushi Anaba. Using mainly sustainable ingredients sourced from the Nordic area, chef and owner Mads Battlefield with his skillful team translates each ingredient into sushi. Each piece is prepared and served masterfully in front of you, Edomae style (a traditional serving style in Tokyo), as a hypnotic art form with Japanese precision methods as part of the act.
With only 8 seats at the Douglas Counter and 5 in the Tatami room, getting a seat at Sushi Anaba require a bit of flexibility, patience or luck when booking. But there is no need to worry all too much, scoring a seat at Sushi Anaba usually is not all of a too lengthy waiting game in general.
Located in Nordhavn next to the Sandkaj bathing area, enjoying a dip in the ocean after your session is an option! In fact, if you are coming from central Copenhagen you can take the ferry back and forth to Sushi Anaba from the city centre, which adds an extra fun dimension to your experience.
