Argentinian-influenced cuisine with food cooked over open fire in the Soho district.

We don’t mean to sugarcoat it, but if you are looking for a restaurant with Argentinian influences in central London where food is cooked over open fire – restaurant Sucre is the way to go. Led by Chef Fernando Trocca in a beautifully set location that used to house as a previous concert hall in the Soho-district.

Our menu recommendations? If you are looking for a drink to start the evening then go for the Sangria Criolla with calvados, red wine, lemonade and honey is freakishly refreshing. Food wise, if meat is your thing (which makes sense if you are hunting for Argentinian cuisine) then we would go for the striploin with chimichurri and fries.

They also offer a surprisingly wide range of different vermouth to explore together with both a generous cocktail and wine list, many of whom with Argentinian heritage.

Don’t want the night to end, or arriving a little too early? Head downstairs to the connected Alma Bar for a drink or two.
