A short walk from the city center of central Vienna over the Donau river, you will find one of the best coffee bars the city has to offer (and yes, Vienna does have quite a bunch of great ones!). Balthasar Coffee Bar, located on a calm walking street on Praterstraße, got the regulars keep coming back for their favorite coffee shop. Both with generous seating on the inside as well some seats on the outside on the warmer days.
Cappuccino, espresso, cold brew… yes, they got all the coffee-based beverages you can expect from a specialty coffee bar and more. One of them being the popular and refreshing “Bloody Orange Drip” (Tarocco Orange PONA with cold drip and rosemary) served in the summer months. Except for caffeinated drinks they also offer pastries and even serve up wine by the glass!
