Opened back in 2019 this beloved (both from locals, bartenders themselves and international reviews) neighborhood bar, A Bar Called Gemma, keeps their doors open from as early as 15.00 to 00.30 every day except for Sundays to serve up the most wonderful cocktails you could ever dream of in a dark but moody and cozy lit location with a personal and intimate feeling.
Have a seat at the bar or around one of their few tables, if you are able to that is. This place has become nothing but a popular gem that is best visited with a booked seat in advance. The cocktails are, however, worth the wait even if you end up waiting for a little while to get a seat.
While there, a recommendation is one of their classics in the menu – The Pearly White. A surprisingly refreshing (instead of sweet) and balanced vodka-based cocktail with jasmine, rose water, lime sherbet and verjus.
