Opened by Leon at the end 2021, Malmøboxen had already been on a tour around Malmö with a food bike to spread the word and a chance to try out and fine tune the concept. Now located at the newly built area of Citadellsvägen you will find him and his team every day to sling out lunch as Malmøboxen during the day and serve wine and dinner during the evening. The food is designed for take-away, but grabbing a seat to enjoy your lunch is also very enjoyable – especially when the fluffy family dog Kenzo is keeping you company while you eat.
The food at Malmøboxen is everything but complex, but even tastier so. It’s a modern take on ‘husmanskost’ packed with flavors that let the chosen ingredients to speak form themselves in conjunction with a good combination of cooking techniques, spices and sauces.
