Opening back in 2007, Ruby has really found its place on the Copenhagen bar scene. But it’s interest stretches further than Denmark with many international recognitions being awarded over the years. And it’s really not at all surprising – because their cocktails is simply signatures. All of them on the menu, the matter of fact, if you ask the bartenders itself. But if there is one we recommend you should not leave before you try is their frozen sea buckthorn margarita – it’s simply the next level of a perfectly balanced cocktail granita.
The location itself is clad with Carrara marble, dark wooden furnitures and leathery Chesterfield armchairs which gives you the vibes of a cocktail bar from older times. And speaking of times – in the 1880s Det Danske Spiritus Kompagni was founded in the exact same location that is now Ruby. But at this point, Ruby itself is making a history of its own within the category of cocktail bars. Simply a must visit if you are in Copenhagen.
