Opened by Matthias and Steve in 2017 (which is also the two first initials forming MAST) with a vision of combining great wine with equally great food. Seasonal produce and meat from local farmers define the plates at MAST Weinbistro, with heaps of flavors and beautiful presentation. Chef Lukas and the rest of the team in the kitchen leaves you with a fear of missing out on other great dishes you might not have ordered from the menu on when visiting – a perfect opportunity to bring you back once again for even more food and wine soon again.
The atmosphere at MAST Weinbsitro is very easy-going and overall relaxed with option to sit indoors by table or bar, or on the outside on the warmer days. The staffs attention to you as a guest does not go unnoticed during your visit, and the love for wine is equally visible.
No matter if you are simply looking for good food and wine or perhaps being a connoisseur of the both – a visit to this excellent wine bistro is simply nothing but a “MAST” on your list when in Vienna, with great opening hours ranging from lunch time (in the weekdays) to the evening every day except Monday and Tuesday. If you visit during lunch time, you can still enjoy their regular menu with a bit of a longer waiting time. But there is no question to be had – it’s worth waiting the extra minute or two.
